Blaming Mom

Via Feministing, When Moms Work, Kids Get Fat. We were talking about quantitative research methods last week in my methods class and I thought this piece was interesting in terms of the methods it implies as well as sentiment. I really am learning a lot at Uni these days. It's just a lot of reading and a lot of writing and while it's fun and exciting in many ways, I'm kind of wiped out by the end of the week. I *should* spend today working on a couple of assignments, at least doing some preliminary reading, but I'm going to go to Ikea instead. We really need to get a blind for the living-room window and we won't be able to do it any other day so I'm taking most of today off school work to pick it up, hang it up, and run a couple of other errands. Then I'll do some reading. Promise.
